Important: The walk from the dock to the Cellhouse is steep—a ¼-mile (0.4 kms) uphill climb with a 130-foot elevation change (equal to a 13-story building). - This tour is strenuous and requires 90-120 minutes of extensive walking, including steep inclines, multiple staircases, possible ladder climbing, and prolonged standing. Please assess whether these conditions are suitable for you and your group before booking.

- The 2-hour guided portion is conducted exclusively in English. However, during the Cellhouse portion, guests can choose an audio tour available in 11 languages, including Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
- If anyone in your group requires the accessible tram, you must notify Alcatraz City Cruises at least 72 hours in advance to allow for special staffing arrangements.
